Now through Midnight June 30, 2017, anyone who becomes a new member with an annual donation of $120 or more, or current members who make an additional gift of $120 or more, will be entered to win a 3 day pass for two to Salmonfest, the best music festival in Alaska! Koahnic Broadcast Corporation holds regular meetings of the KBC board of directors, KBC special committees and the KNBA Community Advisory Board (CAB) which are open to the public. When dates for meetings are confirmed, they are posted here and announced on-air at 90.3 FM one week prior to meeting dates. Most meetings are held at the main offices of Koahnic Broadcast Corporation in the Cook Inlet Tribal Council building at 3600 San Jeronimo Dr., Anchorage, AK 99508 unless otherwise posted.

Be a Volunteer with KNBA's annual Alaska Native Art Auction! Mark your calendars and file your taxes early, so you can spend time Thursday April 13th with KNBA and Koahnic Broadcast Corporation’s annual fundraising event.

Event will be Thursday April 13th at 6 - 9 PM at the Hotel Captain Cook. Volunteers are needed to assist with event set up in the afternoon, during the evening and post event art pick-up/event clean up.

James Temte’s latest exhibit

KNBA's Frank Chythlook recently visited with artist James Temte about an upcoming show. James Temte’s latest exhibit is called “Finding Na-Måhta’sóoma (My Shadow)” and opened at the Alaska Humanities Forum (151 E. 1st Ave., Door 15) Friday, December 9.

The Bear Tooth presents the July First-Tap featuring Nahko and Medicine for the People. The show is Thursday July 2nd, 2015 at the Bear Tooth Theater Pub. Doors open at 8pm.

KNBA Welcomes Samantha Crain!

Fresh off her tour with Buffy Sainte-Marie, Choctaw singer and songwriter Samantha Crain will be performing at the Tap Root. The set will include songs off of her third album, Kid Face, which was recorded and mixed in just nine days! The performance will be on June 13th at 7pm, ages 21+.
