Anchorage, AK – Great Bear Petroleum says new 3D seismic data shows a significant oil find on the North Slope.
Oil companies and a company dedicated to building a natural gas pipeline to carry gas from the North Slope to market, agreed on a destination for the pipeline - Nikiski, on the Kenai Peninsula.
Tribes say because federal funding for a range of programs is due to treaty agreements, and because they're used for essential needs, those dollars should not be treated as discretionary funding.
