Anchorage, AK – Organizers of a citizen's initiative to restore the Alaska Coastal Management Program say they have enough signatures to put the measure on the ballot. The Board of Game votes to launch wolf kills to boost Kenai Peninsula moose numbers dwindling due to habitat changes. The Municipal shelter is asking for help in sheltering more than 100 animals brought in in two cases of alleged animal cruelty. In Kodiak, an effort is underway to preserve the local dialect of the Alutiiq language.
