Anchorage, AK – The Alaska Sea Party, a group of municipal leaders and citizens, has announced they have enough signatures on an initiative to restore the Alaska Coastal Management Program to get it on the ballot, if the Legislature doesn't adopt legislation similar to the initiative. The tanker Renda is pumping emergency fuel to the port of Nome. Sen. Mark Begich has named a new rural affairs liaison, and a military staff person.
