Anchorage, AK – A study on the breeding habits of Steller sea lion may help uncover reasons for a drastic population decline in the western Aleutians. The Federal Subsistence Board passes on a proposal to permanently close eulachon fishing on Unuk River in southeast Alaska. The Anchorage School District wraps up budget review; the public has more opportunities to comment, however.
