Anchorage, AK – Critics say the SBA 8A program gave Alaska Native corporations too many advantages over other small businesses competing for federal contracts, & not enough benefits were going to shareholders. SBA is changing the rules to resolve those and other issues. University of Alaska regents will consider a proposal to add sexual orientation to its non-discrimination policy. Two Iron Dog snowmachine racers will hand out "baseball cards" with their photos and suicide prevention messages along the route.
