Anchorage, AK – Hundreds of people gathered for a three day powwow in Anchorage to see lower '48 drum and dance groups and watch contemporary musicians, including nationally known rapper LiteFoot, perform. Beaver have moved into the Wulik River, which provides drinking water for Kivalina, causing concerns about "beaver fever," or giardia. Alaska Air flights are back on schedule after a computer outage that disrupted travel plans for more than 12,000 passengers.
