4/11/12 - A new report shows Dental Health Aide Therapists model would work well across the country, but dentists say the study is flawed

By Joaqlin Estus

Anchorage, AK – A report on Dental Health Aide Therapists around the world states they provide quality, effective, safe, and economical care. It opposes extension of the program beyond the two states that allow therapists: Alaska and Minnesota due to safety concerns. A practitioner says fears are unfounded.
