Anchorage, AK – The Legislature has started its special session. However, the capital budget still includes language that bundles projects in such a way that if one gets vetoed, the rest go down -- tactics the House and Governor don't like, but the Senate wants. Fake pot will be illegal starting this summer. Senator Mark Begich wants a federal position created to facilitate oil and gas development in Alaska. A tribal health organization is holding a groundbreaking ceremony for a health center in Wasilla.
