Anchorage, AK – The Senate Majority has offered a compromise proposal, dropping a requirement that oil has to reach $150 a barrell to trigger $100 million in capital projects. They want the Alaska Energy Authority to decide which energy projects to go forward, though, instead of the Governor.
About 170 people repesenting 49 communities from across the country are meeting to learn ways to use cultural traditions to prevent youth violence, bullying, and suicide.
