6/6/11 Newscast - Chief Shakes house in Wrangell is about to undergo restoration

Anchorage, AK – A replica of the Chief Shakes Naanya'ii clan house was built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s and needs work. Master carvers from across Southeast Alaska met with tribal members recently to develop a restoration plan. KSTK's Charlotte Durin has the story.
