The Alaska Botanical Garden's Kitchen Garden displays edible plants and flowers that thrive in cool Alaskan summers

Anchorage, AK – The Alaska Botanical Garden in Anchorage shows sustainable gardening, flower beds, natural forested areas, and, this year, a Kitchen Garden. Chives, rhubarb, onions, artichokes, leeks, potatoes, fennel, parsley, zucchini,sunflowers and garlic are just some of the plants in the Kitchen Garden, all plants that grow well in the Alaskan climate.
