Taylor Thomas from Fort Hall, ID, and member of the Shoshone Bannock Tribe was crowned Miss Indian World at the 31st Annual Gathering of Nations, the most prominent Native American Pow wow in the world.
Megan Leary, 23 years old from Napaimute, AK and member of the Native Village of Napaimute was named first runner-up at the pageant. She is currently attending the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
