Anchorage police seek info on Pt. Woronzoff murder victims

Anchorage police are looking for additional information on the victims whose bodies were discovered near Point Woronzof Thursday morning [Jan. 28].

Police are trying to determine the relationship between 20-year-old Foriegnne Aubert-Morissette and 19-year-old Selena Annette Mullenax. It was reported to police that Foriegnne Aubert-Morissette also goes by the name “Onie.”

Anyone with additional information on the victims and/or the cause of their deaths is asked to contact APD Homicide Detective Cordie at 907-786-8679. If you have any information on where you last saw or spoke to either of the victims, we ask that you contact police or you provide that information through Crime Stoppers. Police have started to receive some information and leads regarding this case, and we greatly appreciate the assistance of our citizens in helping us move this investigation forward.

Investigators are not releasing the possible modes of their death at this time as we are awaiting autopsy results. Currently, no arrests or charges have been made in the case. We will provide additional information as it comes available.

Last Incident Release on January, 28, 2016 at 7:36 pm:

At 8:37 this morning Anchorage Police responded to the beach below the Point Woronzof parking lot in reference to a deceased female who was found by a dog-walker.  Approximately one hour later, Anchorage Police found a male who had suffered grave injuries.  The man was transported to the hospital where he was declared deceased a short time later.

The deaths of 20-year-old Foriegnne Aubert-Morissette and 19-year-old Selena Annette Mullenax are being investigated as a double-homicide. Their next of kin have been notified. Police have not yet established what the relationship was between the two, or if there was one.  No arrests have been made at this time.
