Front Row: Chadwick Stokes, 'I Want You Like A Seatbelt'

Back on Dec. 20, Boston's Chadwick Stokes, frontman for Dispatch and State Radio, performed "I Want You Like A Seatbelt" live at House Of Blues Boston. This was the seventh annual Calling All Crows benefit concert; Calling All Crows is a non-profit organization Stokes co-founded in 2008. The group "works for a future when the success of live music is measured not only by ticket sales, but by the impact of fans and musicians mobilizing together to make a difference in the world."

WGBH's crew captured some great shots of Stokes' handmade oil-can guitar, nicknamed "Fidel Castro." A friend of his picked it up on the streets of Capetown, South Africa, where handmade guitars have long been an alternate to expensive store-bought instruments.

Chadwick Stokes' latest album, The Horse Comanche, was released on Feb. 3.
