As Heard on Morning Line - Steven Moore

Koahnic Broadcast Corporation
Mossy Raven

Today’s guest on Morning Line featured Mossy Raven, also known as Steven Moore. He played us a preview of his upcoming performance tonight at the Writers Block by performing his songs, ‘Pika’s Prance’ and ‘the Raven’s Home.’

Steven Moore, the musician behind the name Mossy Raven, grew up in the Olympic Peninsula of Washington. Growing up near the home of the Olympic National Park, Moore draws his artistic inspiration from nature. “I’ve been hiking, mountaineering and backpacking for the last few years and seeing countless amazing places and that sort of is what drives me a lot in life in general.” Moore is currently on tour, traveling across the state of Alaska. Having grown up in nature and previously enjoying his first visit to Alaska, he couldn’t resist the outdoors and mountains. “I wanted to go to Alaska and I wanted to go on a music tour, so I decided to do both of those things.”

Tonight, Tuesday May 22nd, the Mossy Raven will be performing at the Writers Block Bookstore and Cafe. It is a free, all ages show.
