KNBA keeping you in tuned with Our Community! In today's segment, Danny Preston speaks with Executive Director of the Anchorage Park & Trail Foundation, Beth Nordlund. The Anchorage Park & Trail Foundation has 33 park projects planned for this upcoming summer! The APF offers a challenge grant, an opportunity for people in the community to  raise 40,000 dollars which APF matches dollar for dollar, leaving it all up to $80,000 in rewards towards a park project! Another way to achieve rewards towards a park project is the cash match, which the APF counts your volunteers hours!  Coming up this month, there are two diffrent workshops that people in the communiter are able to participate in. At the workshops, be sure and come up with an idea,  have a chance to sit down with a landscape architect, and just ask yourself "is it do-able? " For more information, visit: http://anchorageparkfoundation.org/
