KNBA keeping you in tuned with Our Community! In today's segment Danny Preston speaks with members of the Chicago based band JC Brooks and The Uptown Sound! Tomorrow the band will be performing at the Discovery Theater presented by the Anchorage Concert Association. The group formed in 2007 and their first album was released in 2009. They are currently touring and writing for their new upcoming album. The show begins at 7:30 PM. Danny Preston

Hailing originally from the Puget Sound region of Washington State, Danny Preston has lived in Alaska for more than 40 years. His career in radio began in 1991, and since 2004 he has hosted KNBA’s Morning Line program. He is also the station’s music director.
