Our Community - Stick Figure AK!

The Arc of Anchorage

KNBA keeping you in tuned with Our Community! In today's segment, Danny Preston speaks with visual communications specialist of the Arch of Anchorage, Naomi Hodawanus. This summer, the Arc of Anchorage will be hosting a summer event called stick figure AK. It is a very exiting way of getting people from around the state to celebrate with the organization in a way that communicates creatively, regardless of age, sex gender and etc. Each Alaskan is invited to make up to 3 stick figures that express who you are visually, take pictures of your creations and upload them online to the gallery at http://www.ak.stickfigurecollective.com. The top 100 stick figures will be printed into a coffee table book! There will be a stick figure project unveiling at the Beartooth Theater this Thursday, May 28th. The buffet opens at 11:30 and the program begins at noon. For more information, visit: https://thearcofanchorage.org/calendar
