Anchorage, AK – Grandmothers from Africa, north and south America, India, and Nepal have joined together out of concern for the planet and its inhabitants. They use ancient remedies, including plants, in healing. They meet in each other's countries to pray and share their thoughts on the crisis the earth faces. They've met with the Dalai Lama and are asking to talk with the Pope. September 4-5, 2011, they held fundraisers that included music, the showing of a documentary about them, and a presentation on their mission.
