7/31/14 KNBA News - Southeast health consortium to receive $53 million in overdue contract costs

As KTOO's Lisa Phu reports, the Southeast Alaska Regional Health Consortium has signed an agreement to receive a $53 million settlement from the Indian Health Service for about 15 years of unpaid contract costs.

5/19/14 KNBA Newscast 2 - The Alaska Democratic Party endorses Begich, Mallott, Dunbar

One of two newscasts today - The Alaska Democratic Party wrapped up its statewide convention in Nome on Sunday, having endorsed incumbent U.S. Sen. Mark Begich for the seat he now holds, former Juneau Mayor Byron Mallott for Governor, and Anchorage attorney Forrest Dunbar for the U.S. Congressional seat  held by Rep. Don Young.

A tribal health organization in southeast Alaska is encouraging members to sign up for health insurance.
