Anchorage, AK – Alaska Senator Mark Begich praises the Environmental Protection Agency's decision to approve construction of a Tanana River bridge. Tribal representatives urge Congress to amend the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act to allow people born after Dec. 18, 1971 to become enrolled in Native corporations created under ANCSA, allow tribes to place lands in trust status, and protect fish and game rights.
