Anchorage, AK – Nineteen environmental organizations say they're going to step up their campaign on the Obama administration to deny or at least delay permits to drill for oil in federal waters in the Chukchi and Beaufort seas. The Federal Subsistence Board has voted to reconsider Saxman's nonrural status, which makes residents there ineligible for subsistence permits. The first U.S. residential program of its kind, Dena A Coy, celebrates 20 years treating pregnant women for drug and alcohol abuse.
