Mountain Stage
Dawes.

Dawes makes its fourth appearance on Mountain Stage, showcasing songs from its latest album, All Your Favorite Bands. Led by brothers Taylor and Griffin Goldsmith, Dawes has mastered its signature sound, which combines the best of 1970s California rock with a contemporary sensibility.

Filled out by bassist Wylie Gelber, keyboardist Tay Strathairn and guitarist Duane Betts, the group has earned a reputation for pure musicianship and tremendous live shows. In the rare times when Dawes hasn't been on tour with its own material, its members have worked as supporting players for heavyweights like Robbie Robertson, Conor Oberst and Jackson Browne. It's no wonder that when the band set out to record All Your Favorite Bands, producer David Rawlings sought to capture Dawes' live energy.
